‘Law Enforcement Should Not Ignore Rhodes-Vivour Irresponsible Incitement’

Former Presidential aide, Reno Omokri, has condemned the violent statement of the Labour Party (LP) governorship candidate in Lagos State, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour (GRV).

Naija News earlier reported that GRV raised alarm over voter intimidation, saying that the Independent National Electoral Commission and the police are complicit in the act.

Expressing displeasure over the election, the LP candidate added, ‘if tonight, Lagos catches fire, it is not our fault’

Reacting via his social media page, Reno said the law enforcement agents should not ignore the statement which he described as ‘irresponsible’ incitement.

He also faulted those who kept silent on the statement but attacked All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain, MC Olumo, when he issued a threat to Igbos in Lagos.

Reno added that residents of Lagos would be very unwise to allow another #EndSars level protest because of Rhodes-Vivour reaction to the outcome of the election.

He said: “Gbadebo Rhodes Vivour’s threat about Lagos “catching fire” should not be ignored by law enforcement agents. He should be called to order. As usual, those who called for MC Oluoma’s head are silent over GRV’s irresponsible incitement!

“Lagosians would be very unwise to allow another #EndSARS level protest because Gbadebo Rhodes Vivour is screaming blue murder about the elections. Like his master, Obi, who celebrate states where he polled 97% of the votes and condemned results elsewhere!”
