JUST IN: Supreme Court Approves Use Of Hijab In Lagos Schools

The Babajide Sanwo-Olu-led Lagos State government has announced the release of the 2022 Model Colleges results.

Naija News reports that this was made known in a public announcement on Thursday by the Public Affairs Officer, Lagos State Examinations Board, Bakare Fatai.

“The Lagos State Examinations Board hereby announces the release of the Year 2022 Screening Test into Lagos State Model Colleges and Upgraded Junior Secondary Schools with immediate effect,” he stated.

He asked all concerned Candidates, who duly participated in the Screening Exercise should kindly login into the Lagos State Examinations Board’s Portal: examsboard.lagosstate.gov.ng with the Card Serial number and PIN provided during the registration process to print out their Results’ slips and to await their Admission Status which would be made available on the same portal in due course.

Meanwhile, the Kano state government in its effort to boost education standards has unveiled Nigeria Learning Passport (NLP) for its students in primary and upper basic classes, with the gesture to enable no fewer than 25 million students to get the opportunities to utilize the application by the end of 2025.

It will also afford pupils to register through a known GSM line to access over 10,000 resources available in the system remotely at their convenience.

Disclosing this on Sunday at the state ministry of education while speaking with the pressmen in Kano, the Team leader, Nasiru Abdullahi Kwalli, said that the universal programme is a joint partnership between Microsoft as host, technical support from UNICEF, while the bulk of financial support comes from World Bank.

He said that the Application that has language switches to accommodate mother tongue was designed to cater for emergencies when schools are not accessible, stressing that no fewer than 25m pupils are expected to utilize the application by the end of 2025.

According to him, the universal self-based learning devices allowed each state to develop its local content and upload it to the website for the benefit of its local students.
