Independence Day: Celebrating at Park Vega Waterpark with family, friends – Guests

The 2022 Independence Day celebration promises to be a deviation from the norm of staying indoors to eat what some call the Independence Day menu. Come October 1st many fun-seekers have plans to revive the outdoor lifestyle of visiting choice locations.

One such exciting place to visit on Independence Day is the largest waterpark in West Africa, Park Vega Waterpark, located in Delta State, arguably the capital of Nigeria’s tourism sector. Interactions with new and regular guests show they intend to spend the day with friends and family at the leading water-based amusement park.

Some of the guests said they have lined up plans to celebrate this year’s Independence Day at the waterpark to make this October 1st a memorable one. The park is a water-based amusement with eateries, bars, and other attractions that offer diversity in fun.

Park Vega Waterpark is currently one of the most significant locations to visit during special occasions such as Christmas, New Year, Valentine, Easter, Idel Fitr, and Independence Day, among other notable days. Some guests who are regular at the park said they plan to spend the national day with their family at the waterpark sliding, swimming, playing games, eating, drinking and taking memorable selfie photos.

A first-time guest, Taiwo Olayoni, said “Park Vega Waterpark is a very good place to come over and over. Please, we need the management to build something like this in Port Harcourt so that we have it next door. I am glad I came with my family because they would never have forgiven me if I went back to give them the gist of my experience without them in the picture I took. I enjoyed everything, it’s like asking to choose between honey and honey. I will never forget my fun time and seeing my family so happy together. We will be back for Independence Day.”

On her part, Nneka, a lady who visited with a large company of friends and family members, a total of 16 people, said, “I love the wave pool so much that I can stay the whole day here. When I came sometime on January 6th, they did not open one of the slides because of a routine maintenance and safety procedure. The chicken and chips are so nice that we always take some away to snack on when going home even after eating lots of them in the park. My family and I love it so much and we will be here on October 1 to celebrate independence.”

Another guest, Obinna, who visited the park for the first time said he would be back on Independence Day as he had a fun experience with friends. “The free fall is my best attraction because it was mind-blowing how I glided from the top to the bottom and I felt like a child once again. The food was extremely delicious, especially the Chicken and chips.”

Park Vega Waterpark is a privately owned waterpark and the only international standard waterpark endorsed by the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) and the World Waterparks Association (WWA). https://www.parkvegawaterpark.com/.
