‘I Was Happy When Tinubu Said Mentioning Peter Obi’s Name Is A Disgrace’

Kenneth Okonkwo and tinubu

Nollywood actor and Spokesperson of the Labour Party (LP) presidential campaign council, Kenneth Okonkwo, has expressed excitement over a recent comment of All Progressives Congress (APC) flagbearer, Bola Tinubu.

Naija News recalls that Tinubu while speaking at the party’s rally in Gbaramatu, Delta state on Friday, November 26, 2022, said it would be a disgrace for him to mention the name of LP presidential candidate, Peter Obi.

The former Governor of Lagos State noted that the wrong statistics from Obi are not what Nigeria currently needs, adding he (Tinubu) is one of the few presidential candidates still in the race.

Kenneth Okonkwo Reacts

Responding to Tinubu’s statement, Kenneth Okonkwo, while featuring on Channels TV Political Paradigm, said he was excited and appreciated God over the statement.

While subtly making a mockery of Tinubu, Kenneth said nobody wants to associate with a drug baron, terrorist, or thief because it is truly a disgrace.

He urged Tinubu not to mention Obi’s name but mention the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate because they are two sides of the same coin.

Kenneth added that Obi is an anointed candidate and Tinubu’s mouth is not holy enough to call him.

Why I’ve Not Been Attending Public Debates

Meanwhile, Tinubu on Monday disclosed why he has been shunning public debates in Nigeria.

Tinubu speaking at the Chatham House in London said those inviting him for presidential debates are only trying to use him to make money.

The former Lagos State Governor said he is a marketable individual and he would not allow anyone to take advantage of him.

He said this while answering questions from the audience in London on why he doesn’t attend debates.
