Katsina State Governor, Aminu Bello Masari has again sacked some officials of his cabinet ahead of the governorship polls.

Naija News reports that this time around, the Chairman of the state transport authority, Alhaji Bilyaminu Mohammed Rimi, the Special Adviser on Girl Child, Hajiya Amina Lawal and the immediate past chairman of the state APC, Alhaji Shitu Shitu who was the State Pilgrims Welfare Board were affected.

This online news platform recalls that the governor about two weeks ago sacked the state Commissioner for Works, Housing and Transport, Hon. Tasi’u Dandagoro, the Permanent Secretary, of the Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources, Aminu Waziri, the Chairman, Katsina State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Yusuf Barmo, and the Permanent Secretary, Sustainable Development Goals, Fatima Ahmed.

Even though speculations were that those he sacked were reportedly involved in anti-party activities, Masari explained that it was part of his administration’s move to strategic, realignment and adjustment of his cabinet.

However, in this new wave of sacking spree, the governor in a statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Muntari Lawal disclosed that Danlami has been appointed as the Commissioner of Sports after he lost the bid to return to the Federal House of Representatives as member Representing Katsina Constituency.

Also, it was revealed in the statement that while the governor appointed Alhaji Aminu Abdulmumini Kabir as Chairman of the state Pilgrims Board to take over from Alhaji Yusuf barmo who has been sacked earlier, he redeployed the Commissioner of Lands and Survey, Alhaji Usman Nadada to the vacuum Ministry of Special Duties while Bishir gambo Saulawa was redeployed from the Ministry of Sports and Social Development to the Ministry of Lands and Survey.

The statement further noted that Alhaji Abubakar Darma has replaced Shitu Shitu at the Pilgrims Welfare Board while another statement announces the appointment of Alhaji Gambo Abdulkadir Rimi as the new Chairman governing Board of KTSTA to replace Alhaji Bilyaminu Rimi.
