Former Real Madrid Player Announce His Retirement from Football.

The Argentine made the announcement during a press conference with Inter Miami.
Former Real Madrid and Chelsea player, who has been one of the best footballers at the club, has announced that he will retire at the end of this season.
Gonzalo Higuain has announced that he will retire at the end of this season. He has put his boots away. The Argentine striker for Inter Miami has announced his retirement from the game at the age of 34 and after three seasons in Major League Soccer, where he scored 27 goals in 65 games.
The announcement was made by the Argentinian at a press conference with Inter Miami. Higuain expressed his gratitude to his family for their love and support throughout his playing career.
“The day has come to say goodbye to soccer, a profession that has given me so much and I feel privileged to have experienced it with its good and not so good moments,” he said at the press conference.

Before moving on to Real Madrid during the winter transfer window of 2006–2007, Gonzalo Higuain first began his career in the River Plate youth academy.
After winning three LaLiga championships, a Copa del Rey, and two Spanish Super Cups, he moved to Napoli after seven seasons. There, he increased his goal production to 36 goals in 35 games in 2015–16, making him the top scorer in Serie A.
Those 36 goals are also the record number of goals scored in a season in Serie A, only equalled years later by Ciro Immobile.
From there he went to Juventus where, after a great first season with 24 goals, his numbers eventually dropped and after being loaned to Milan and Chelsea, he left for MLS in 2020, joining Inter Miami.
The attacker also played a prominent role in the Argentina National Team, where he played for nine years (2009-2018) and scored 31 goals in 75 games.
In addition, Higuain was the Albiceleste’s starting striker during their second-place finish in the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
