Former Presidential aide, Bashir Ahmad has reacted to the killing of a pregnant woman, Fatima and her children by gunmen in Anambra State.
Naija News recalls that the gunmen invaded some villages in Orumba North and Idemili North Local Government Areas of the state on Sunday and killed at least seven persons.
The gunmen killed a pregnant lady named Fatima and four of her children at Isulo village in Orumba North Local Government Area and killed another man in Nanka in the same local council.
It was learned that Fatima with her four children is a northerner from Adamawa State.
The killing of Fatima and her children has since generated reactions on and off social media as Nigerians register their concerns.
Reacting to the incident in a tweet via his official Twitter handle on Tuesday, Ahmad condemned the killing of the heavily pregnant woman and her children.
The former presidential aide accused the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) of being responsible for the gruesome murder.
He described the murder of the Northerners as a totally evil and inhuman act, adding that the killing should be condemned by Nigerians.
He wrote, “Fatima, a pregnant woman and her four kids were gruesomely killed by IPOB terrorists in Anambra.
“A totally evil and inhuman act and should be condemned by all”.
