EPL: Not ridiculous – Gary Neville names team to win title ahead of Arsenal, Man City

Former Manchester United captain, Gary Neville, has said it is “not ridiculous” to suggest the Red Devils could win the Premier League.

Neville said this in reaction to Arsenal and Manchester City slipping up last weekend.

However, he feels it is still “too early” for Erik ten Hag’s side to challenge.

United defeated Crystal Palace 2-1 at Old Trafford, while Arsenal and City both lost 1-0 to Everton and Tottenham, respectively.

At the end of the weekend, United had moved within five points of City and eight points of leaders Arsenal.

“It’s not ridiculous to say they could win the title.

“I don’t think they will, and I’ve never thought they will this season because it’s a bit early for that, but I would be getting worried if I was Manchester City.

“Man City could easily still win the league but Man United are in a good position too,” Neville said on his Sky Sports podcast.
