Former senator and social media personality, Dino Malaye has reacted to the presence of some alleged Bishops at the unveiling of Kashim Shettima as the running mate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential candidate Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Recall that during the ceremony at the Shehu Musa Yar’Adua centre in Abuja on Wednesday, some persons robed in apparels peculiar to Christian clerics, attended the event to show support for the APC vice-presidential candidate.
Speaking on the development, the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) had criticised the APC, saying “artisans” were hired to act like clerics.
Reacting to the development, Dino took to his official Instagram page to share his observation of the situation.
Posting a picture of an alleged Catholic reverend father who wore a chasuble, the ex-lawmaker stated that, “Reverend fathers do not wear cassocks outside mass service. Desperation raised to power 1000.”
Meanwhile, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adamu Garba, has reacted to the alleged hiring of fake bishops to attend the unveiling of Kashim Shettima as the Vice Presidential candidate of the ruling party.
In a tweet via his verified Twitter handle on Wednesday, Garba commended the supposed ‘clerics’ for attending the unveiling of the former Governor of Borno State as the APC vice presidential candidate. Read more
