Nollywood actress Debbie Shokoya has said yes to her lover after he proposed to her on Valentine’s Day.
The proposal was organised by the man and the actress’ friends.
In videos posted online, Debbie’s lover is seen getting down on his knees with his back to the camera as he asks her to spend the rest of her life with him.
As the light comes on in the room, Debbie screams and hugs her partner in the presence of friends and colleagues.
The actress then shows off her engagement ring as the song Olomi by Tosin Martins plays in the background.
Her excited friends can be heard saying “you are off the market” and “show us the ring” even as the actress expresses shock.
Born in Lagos, Debbie started her acting career in 2012 but gained significant fame in 2017.
She is known for her role as Fatty Abebelube in the Nollywood movie Aye Loja.
The actress has since featured in other movies including, Kilo Sele Gangan, Ibale Mi, Aiyeoloja, Oyenusi, and Ayelabawo.
Debbie is yet to make an official statement on the proposal.
Neither has she posted any video or picture about it on social media as of the time of filing this report.
