Davido reacts as FG confers him a national honour award
Famous Nigerian international singer David Adeleke, otherwise known as Davido, has been conferred with a national honour award by the federal government of Nigeria.
The government conferred Davido Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON).
Sharing the news on his Instagram story, Davido showed the lists of others awarded the same honour as him, marking out his name.
The singer, who was appreciative of the honour, captioned the post with his name, “David Adeleke OON”, and the Nigerian flag.
His uncle, Ademola Adeleke, celebrated him for making the Adeleke family proud and also for being a good ambassador of Osun State.
He wrote, “Congratulations Davido on your conferment with Nigeria’s national honour award, Officer of the Order of Niger (OON). You have made the family proud and Osun as a state.”
Davido’s honour came a few days after he reacted to his uncle, Ademola Adeleke’s Supreme Court’s hearing about his validity as the governor of Osun State.
