Cyriel Dessers Could Return to Cremonese Starting IX for Fiorentina Clash

Cyriel Dessers is expected to be back in starting IX, when Cremonese face Fiorentina this Sunday in the Serie A.

Dessers’ push for a starting spot was aided by his second half brace against Sassuolo last Monday.

The striker could replace Felix Ofena-Gyan in the line up and pair David Okereke in the attack.

Cremonese are fighting for the chance of a great escape from the drop zone and preserve their topflight status at least for another season.

Similarly, the team will welcome back Vlad Chiriches and Emanuel Aiwu, both of whom were sidelined with injuries.

When these two teams met back in August, the Viola edged out a hard-fought 3-2 win at home.

So far this season, Dessers has scored 5 times in 19 league appearances for the Team.
