Court sentences 60-year-old EFCC impostor to three years imprisonment

The Akwa Ibom State Excessive Courtroom sitting in Uyo, the state capital, on Thursday sentenced one Ita Michael Sampson to 3 years imprisonment for claiming to be an worker of the Financial and Monetary Crimes Fee, EFCC, with the intent to defraud.

Justice Okon, who described the convict as “a depressing liar and a serial fraudster, that nemesis has caught up with, held that the convict didn’t present regret, however made efforts to persuade the court docket by means of his “fairy story of defence.”
