Ucheibe signed a three years contract extension with the club, prolonging her stay till 2026.
The Midfielder arrived the club 3 years ago, and has performed consistently.
“Christy Ucheibe, a 22-year-old midfielder, three-time national champion for Benfica women’s football team, extended her association with the Club until 2026,” The club said.

On her part, Ucheibe said she has enjoyed every bit of her time at the club, and want to continue.
“This period of three and a half years in Portugal has been fantastic and at Benfica, my colleagues always showed me a lot of love and affection. Benfica is love!,” she said.
Christy Ucheibe is also an important player for the national team, and barring any injury, she’s expected to be on the plane to Australia and New Zealand for the FIFA Women’s World Cup.
