Former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adams Oshiomhole has accused the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi of causing unemployment in Nigeria.
He claimed Obi by his business, is not developing the economy of the country because he imports all the things being sold in his shopping mall in Abuja.
According to Oshiomhole, the LP presidential candidate is part of those contributing to the downfall of the Nigerian economy and such a person can’t be president of Nigeria.
Naija News reports the former Edo State Governor made the submission during the flag-off of the APC presidential campaign and senatorial election at Auchi.
He said: “Obi owns the biggest shopping mall in Abuja and all the items sold there are imported, so if he is selling imported wines, clothes and other items, he is contributing to why Nigeria is going down because he is creating job abroad and importing unemployment to Nigeria.”
On Atiku’s Presidency
Oshiomhole also cautioned Nigerians against voting for the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar because according to him, the former Vice President is a serial defector that can’t be trusted.
He further accused Atiku of trying to play ethnic politics with his statement in Kaduna during an interaction with the Arewa Joint Committee, saying such a person can’t unify the country.
“Atiku defected from the PDP to the ACN, when he lost the election, he decamped to the PDP, he contest and lost and defected to APC, he again defected to the PDP and contested with Buhari and lost and now he still contesting. Can you vote for such candidate?” Oshiomhole queried.
