A post of President Muhammadu Buhari on the security situation before he was declared as President of Nigeria on May 29th, 2015 has emerged.
Buhari in a post on his Twitter account on the 19th of January, 2015, had asked the then President, Goodluck Jonathan if he can keep Nigerians safe if they travel to any party of the country.
The President also asked Nigerians if their life is better than it was six years ago.
However, seven years down the line as the president of Nigeria, Buhari on Wednesday, 6th of July, 2022 lamented the terrorist’s attack on the Medium Security Custodial Centre, Kuje.
The attack on Kuje prison is coming hours after terrorists attacked the convoy of the president while en route to his home town, Daura in Kastina State.
Buhari in his reaction expressed disappointment with the intelligence system.
He wondered how terrorists organize, have weapons, attack a security installation and get away with it.
President called for a comprehensive report on the attack on the Kuje Prison.
Nigerians are wondering if the security structure in the country has gotten better under the Buhari-led government.
