Bold move – Reno Omokri reacts as Tinubu removes fuel subsidy

A socio-political commentator, Reno Omokri, on Monday reacted to the removal of the fuel subsidy regime by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

DAILY POST earlier reported that Tinubu had, during his inaugural speech, said the subsidy is no longer sustainable in Nigeria, stressing that it is gone.

Reacting, Omokri, in a tweet on his verified Twitter handle, hailed President Tinubu, stating that it is a bold move.

He also urged all opposition parties to be patriotic and support the subsidy removal.

Omokri wrote, “Subsidy removal of the right move. I support it. We would have done the same thing if Waziri Atiku Abubakar had been inaugurated today.

“It is a bold move, and I urge all opposition parties to be patriotic and support subsidy removal while we vigorously and zealously pursue our case to unseat President Bola Tinubu democratically.”
