Atiku Campaign Council Member Call For Bode George’s Expulsion From PDP

Don't Set Your House On Fire Because Of Tinubu's Ambition - Bode George Blasts Akande

A member of the presidential campaign council of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Adetokunbo Pearse, on Wednesday, charged the party to expel former Deputy National Chairman, Bode George.

Pearse in his call on the party’s leadership to expel Chief George, accused the former Deputy National Chairman of anti-party activities.

Naija News learnt that Pearse made this call at a news conference on Wednesday at the PDP secretariat in Lagos.

Pearse’s statement is coming days after George met with the five aggrieved governors of the main opposition party identified as the G-5.

The Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike and his allies after meeting with chief George announced the formation of Integrity Group on Sunday.

The G-5 insisted that the National Chairman of the party, Iyorchia Ayu should resign from the party since Atiku hails from the North.

Pearse, in his reaction, said the expulsion of George from the party would give PDP a fair chance of victory in Lagos in 2023.

He further stated that members of the party in Lagos, including the ward chairmen, are calling for George to leave the party.

Pearse said, “for it to survive and win the election.

“This is the voice of the people and these ward chairmen are the vehicle to the voices of our members.

“We are appealing to the party leadership to send a notice of expulsion of membership to Chief Olabode George.”
