Asake has finally released his single ‘Terminator’ which he said would be dropping this month. After his ‘Mr Money’ single he released a few years ago, he caught a few ears and stayed above water for some time. It seemed like Asake had hung his microphone. But alas, the man’s been reborn, like a musical phoenix.
It’s almost incredible, how Asake has picked the microphone again and has somehow refused to let it go, lighting it up every time he touches it. Kudos may well be given to YBNL boss, Olamide for bringing him out into the open again, to bless the whole public but then, one may be blessed enough to be presented with such opportunity but unfortunately, not do as well as he ought, but not Asake. Fans say he took the time off to go prepare himself for whenever he might get the chance to prove his worth again.
In a space of seven months, he’s done songs with Olamide, Burna Boy and fellow record label artiste Fireboy, who are all big guns in the industry, and all his released songs have been hits. What strikes the most is how quickly he drops his songs, always back to back. He’s got a song for every month since January, 2022 and now, the one for August is here.
‘Terminator’ has been all over various social media platforms since he dropped the teaser last month. He also used that opportunity to announce his album coming in September, Mr Money With The Vibe. His pull is one that has left fans in awe and amazement. ‘Terminator’ is here and Asake really outdid himself on the track.
