‘APC In Wicked Desperation’ – Melaye Speaks On Dumping Atiku

The spokesman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential campaign council, Dino Melaye, has slammed the All Progressives Congress (APC) over claims that he has dumped his principal, Atiku Abubakar.

Naija News reports that this comes after a video of Dino dancing with the Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Festus Keyamo, made the rounds online.

There were speculations that the former lawmaker attended the President-elect, Bola Tinubu’s pre-inaugural party with Keyamo.

Reacting to the claims, Melaye slammed APC describing the report as wicked desperation of APC and falsehood.

According to him, the video making the rounds online is an old video.

He said: “APC in wicked desperation used a very old video to lie and propagate falsehood. Dino is so important to the extent una dey use me take market dead body. Atiku joooooooo…..Atiku jareeeeee”

Dino Melaye Makes Fresh Allegations

In related news, Melaye, has accused President Muhammadu Buhari and the national chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Mahmood Yakubu, of conspiring together to ‘rig’ the just concluded 2023 presidential election.

Melaye made the allegation in a video clip via his Twitter handle. He said Buhari and Yakubu were the greatest con artist Africa has ever produced.

The PDP chieftain said the Nigerian leader and Yakubu played the intellect of Nigerians and ensured the whole process into the presidential election favoured the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu.

Melaye again alleged that the Naira redesign policy by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) was another distraction used by the ruling party to get its candidate to power.

According to him, despite claims that the policy was designed to frustrate money politics in the just concluded elections, Tinubu was given enough new Naira notes allegedly distributed across states while the PDP was starved of the same.
