APC Adjust Campaign Calendar, Set To Hold Fundraiser Dinner On Sunday

The Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has adjusted its campaign calendar to accommodate some new activities in the coming days.

Naija News reports that the new programmes and activities have been injected into the revised campaign calendar, as the party plans to hold a fundraising dinner in Lagos State on Sunday, November 27.

The party’s campaign council in its revised calendar would also launch its “crowd-sourcing app” on the same Sunday.

Naija News gathered that the revised Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) APC Campaign timetable showed that the APC flagbearer, Bola Tinubu, would meet with Southwest leaders on November 30.

The timetable revealed that the campaign train is expected to proceed to Bayelsa State on Thursday, December 1.

It also revealed that Tinubu would engage the organised labour in a parley in Lagos on Friday, December 2, with the Lagos rally and Southwest Stakeholders meeting taking place on Saturday, December 3.

The new calendar also indicated Tinubu’s international engagements would now hold from December 4-12, 2022.

When he returns from his international engagements, Tinubu and his running mate, Kashim Shettima are expected to hold a rally in Kaduna on December 13 and then move to Minna, Niger State the next day.

A town hall meeting is also planned for Edo State for Thursday, December 15 while the Abuja Youth rally would hold on December 17.

Another rally is said to be billed for December 19 in Port Harcourt, Rivers State and a town hall meeting with some critical stakeholders from South South is scheduled for Calabar, Cross Rivers State on December 20 with a similar town hall meeting with members of the Creative Arts Industry the next day in Lagos and a musical concert to end the campaign for December 22 in Lagos.

The campaign council, who would go on a break from December 23, 2022, to January 3, 2023, is expected to be more engaging in January and February 2023 with rallies across some States and the grand finale is planned for February 15, 2023, in Lagos.

The PCC would use the period between February 16 and 24 for “election planning”.
