Aisha Yesufu Warns Against Voting Bad Leaders

Aisha Yesufu Knocks Sanwo-Olu Over Reopening Of Lekki Tollgate

The co-convener of the BringBackOurGirls movement, Aisha Yesufu, has warned Nigerians against voting for bad leaders ahead of the 2023 general election.

Yesufu cautioned that such leaders would not be able to produce a different result if they get into power.

The activist stated this while reacting to the lingering industrial action of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU).

She noted that there was a strike before the 2019 election, the same ahead of the 2023 election, adding that things won’t be different.

Yesufu expressed excitement that Nigerians are saying enough is enough as the election season approaches.

She urged Nigerians to vote for leaders who are competent and have the character to fight for Nigeria.

Yesufu wrote in a post on her Twitter account, “Going into the 2019 election, there was ASUU strike. Going into the 2023 election, there is an ASUU strike. You cannot keep voting for the same people and expect a different result

“I did this video a year ago. It seemed almost impossible then that what is happening now would happen. I am so glad that Nigerians are saying #EnoughisEnough.

“Nigerian people, it’s in our hands to do away with the political class that hasn’t worked and vote in leaders based on competence, character, capacity and compassion. Nigeria is worth fighting for, Nigeria is worth standing for.”
