Adana Demirspor 1-1 Fenerbahce: Onyekuru, Osayi-Samuel clash

Super Eagles duo of Henry Onyekuru and Bright Osayi-Samuel came face to face when Adana Demirspor hosted Fenerbahce in the Turkish Super Lig on Thursday.

The duo played for their respective clubside in the thrilling game that ended in a 1-1 draw.

Onyekuru was included in Adana Demirspor starting 11, while Osayi-Samuel was surprisingly dropped to the bench but did came on in the second half.

Onyekuru played for Eighty-nine minutes, and had two shots on target, completed three dribbles and was yellow carded.

He was substituted for Swiss veteran and former Napoli midfielder Gökhan Inler.

Osayi-Samuel on his part, played in the final 29 minutes after coming on for İrfan Kahveci.

The 25-year-old however did not have much impact on the game as expected.

He’s yet to score or assist a goal this season, despite playing sixteen matches for the side.
