Actor Okanlawon Gives Reason Why He Dies Often In Movie Roles

Nigerian actor, Deyemi Okanlawon has given an explanation as to why he usually ends up dead in movie roles.

Naija News reports that the award-winning actor, who gave his reasons on the microblogging platform Twitter, said the reason he dies often in movie roles might be attributed to his high charge.

His response follows an enquiry from a Twitter user, who asked why he often ends up dead in blockbuster movies.

The user identified as Sam wrote: “Why is @_deyemi dying in every banger film tho.”

The theatre and Voice actor, who played the role of Olunde, in the recently released movie “Elesin Oba” where he died after making a couple of appearances, said if the Twitter user identified as Sam heard his daily charges, he may also end up killing him in reality.

Okanlawon, who is best known for his roles in Omo Ghetto: The Saga, Blood Sisters and King of Boys: The Return of the King, has been reported to be listed as the highest-grossing Nollywood actor in 2020 and 2021.

He replied: “Bruh e fit be say na budget cause am o! If I bill you my daily rate you fit wan kee me for real life!”

Meanwhile, Naija News reported earlier that US-based actress, Sonia Ogiri has made her intentions known that if wishes were horses, she would have switched positions with the daughter of billionaire businessman, Femi Otedola, Florence Ifeoluwa Otedola, professionally called DJ Cuppy.

Naija News reports that Ogiri on her insta story post, yearned to trade places with Cuppy, wishing it could become a reality.

The US-based actress remarked that if she were in Cuppy’s position as a billionaire daughter, it would be obvious because she will show it.

However, the mother of one, who is not a billionaire daughter has done well for herself as an actress and entrepreneur.

She wrote ”If wishes were horses, I for exchange positions with Cuppy cause I no understand. Una for know the meaning of money dey, ’cause e go too show y’all.”
