2023: Why I’m against zoning of political offices – Lamido

Former Governor of Jigawa State, Sule Lamido, has stated he’s towards the thought of zoning of political places of work forward of the 2023 basic elections.

Lamido, talking on BBC Hausa on Saturday, said that the zoning of political places of work has been counter-productive.

In response to him, the thought of zoning must be discarded for the welfare and unity of Nigerians to take the centre stage.

“In terms of zoning, I might say I don’t agree. The world ought to have a look at it as it’s, all over the place it goes; all over the place we speak about human growth, “Lamido stated.

Lamido requested Nigerians to think about advantage moderately than ethnicity or spiritual sentiment as they go to the polls to elect a brand new President in 2023.

Lamido had earlier stated Nigeria wants a pacesetter with sterling qualities as that of Aminu Tambuwal as the subsequent president.
