Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has debunked information of his purported plan to announce his presidential bid forward of the 2023 elections after the All Progressives Congress, APC, conference.
Stories had emerged on-line on Monday that Osinbajo would announce his intention to run for 2023 presidency quickly.
Nevertheless, Osinbajo by his spokesman, Laolu Akande, clarified that the report making the rounds is fake and speculative snippets.
He added that any info on the motion of the Vice President will come immediately from his workplace and never press.
Laolu made this recognized in a tweet on Monday.
The tweet learn: “I’ve seen “information” that VP’ll announce presidential bid after APC’s conference. Anybody studying the story ‘ll understand it’s all false and speculative snippets.
“ Any info on actions and actions of the VP will come immediately from his workplace and never sponsored speculations within the press.”
