Major League Soccer has released the 2023 schedule. The season will kick off on February 25 as Nashville SC takes on New York City FC.
Here’s all you need to know about the upcoming MLS campaign…
United States: All matches will be available on Apple TV, through the Major League Soccer pass. Additionally, FOX Sports will air 34 games in 2023, with 15 airing on FOX and 19 airing on FS1.
Canada: An extensive schedule of TSN and RDS regular season matches will be announced in the coming weeks, with at least one match per week featuring a Canadian team.
Mexico: All matches will be available on Apple TV, through the Major League Soccer pass. Additionally, ESPN will broadcast certain games.
The season will kick off with Nashville SC vs. NYCFC at 4:30 pm ET on February 25 , followed by LA Galaxy vs. LAFC at 9:30 ET.
Rivalry Week boasts four days of the league’s fiercest rivalry matchups from May 13 to May 20.
The 2023 MLS All-Star Game is set for Wednesday, July 19 at D.C. United’s Audi Field. The opponent for Major League Soccer’s showcase event will be announced at a later date.
The new international competition will see 47 MLS and LIGA MX clubs compete in a completely reimagined format: an annual, month-long, Concacaf-sanctioned tournament. The MLS regular season will pause following the July 15 games for Leagues Cup play and resume on August 20.
The regular season’s final matchday will take place on October 21. All teams will face intra-conference opponents w in a battle for playoff spots and seeding. MLS Decision Day kickoff times will be announced at a later date.

International windows: The American league will pause during the October and November FIFA international windows. MLS clubs were previously presented with the option to play during the June and September FIFA international window, and 13 clubs elected to do so.
2022 FIFA Club World Cup: Seattle Sounders FC will compete in the 2022 FIFA Club World Cup, which kicks off February 1 to February 11 in Morocco. Match dates and times have yet to be confirmed.
2023 Concacaf Champions League: The five MLS teams that have qualified for the 2023 Concacaf Champions League will begin Round of 16 play on March 7 to March 9. They are: Austin FC, Orlando City SC, LAFC, Philadelphia Union and Vancouver Whitecaps FC.
