2023: Adeyanyu Reveals What Will Happen If Peter Obi, Kwankwaso Fail To 'Unite'

The convener of the Concerned Nigerian movement and human rights activist, Deji Adeyanju has claimed that neither Peter Obi of the Labour party, nor Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP) will get more than 3 percent votes outside their regions if they failed to unite.

According to Adeyanju, via his verified Twitter handle, the massive support Obi and Kwankwaso are currently enjoying from their regions will perform poorly at the 2023 poll if they do not “unite” forces.

Adeyanju’s assertion comes after it was speculated that Obi, the presidential candidate of the LP, may run a joint ticket with Kwankwaso as his running mate.

In his tweet, Adeyanju urged presidential candidates, Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso to combine forces ahead of the 2023 election.

Adeyanju further stated that “Peter Obi won’t score up to 3% of total votes cast in northern states in Nigeria. Kwankwaso won’t also get 3% votes in any Southern states. The challenges of 2023 are beyond visible to the blind. This is why opposition parties should unite except they are working for Bola Tinubu (candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC).”
